Vikram Pandit was born January 14, 1957. he is an American CEO. He completed his schooling at the Dadar Parsee Youth Assembly High School in Dadar, Mumbai. He moved to America when he was sixteen years old, to study at Gannon University.
He joined Morgan Stanley as an associate in 1983, one of the first Indians to join the company. Vikram S. Pandit serves as head of alternative investments, managing director and member of the Operation and Management Committee of Citigroup's alternative investments.
He has also struck an apologetic tone to allow the bank to consider to complete the purchase of a private jet after having received some $45 billion in bailout money. His total 2009 compensation was $128,751 with a base salary of $125,001 and other compensation of $ 3,750.
